These postcards were created by women survivors of gender-based violence/hatred and others who are concerned with women’s oppression. The postcards are visual representations of lived experiences and serve to more accurately depict the empowering and disempowering experiences of women. By displaying women’s personal stories in public space, I intend to politicize women’s personal and raise awareness of women's issues in an attempt to stop acts of gender-based violence/hatred.

Visual response to the prompt: "A time when you felt negatively stereotyped or discriminated against because of your gender"
I think some men feel that their penis is just as qualified as they are. In other words, they think a penis could do a better job than a woman, therefore a man can do two times the job of a woman...
I think some men just do not want to believe that a women can be more qualified than they are. They do not like being out shined by a woman. Women are more fair in the work place. They use their brains to think not their penis.
